Drawing from the wisdom of both QiGong and Yin Yoga, this slow and introspective practice supports unwinding as well as refueling and invites a deeper connection to the body. With both practices being rooted in the Chinese 5 Elements theory these two fit seemlessly together.
The first half of the class is dedicated to energy cultivation, transformation and flow using QiGong techniques. In the second half of the practice we will stay in positions longer to support energetic conductivity of the tissue by releasing tension and freeing adhesions in the fascia.
Time: Wednesday Afternoon 5:30-6:30pm
Dates: 14/10, 21/10, 28/10, 4/11, 11/11, 18/11, 25/11, 2/12
Location: Onespace Gallery, 25A Bouquet St, South Brisbane QLD 4101, Australia
Parking: Best Parking is at Queensland Theatre Company
Yoga mats and bolsters provided :)
